Windows 11 Upgrade Requirement

Windows 10 will reach the end of support on October 14, 2025, meaning it will no longer receive security updates or patches posing a security threat to the university.

Over the coming weeks, Information Technology Services (ITS) will continue upgrading all University computers currently running Windows 10 to Windows 11 version 24H2. Please watch your email for notifications.

The upgrade can take 30–120 minutes and requires a reboot. We recommend starting the upgrade at the end of the workday to avoid interruptions.
